Outreach program in MUBI

Outreach program by Help the amputee foundation in Jakadiya Mubi Hall, Adamawa State.

The Help the amputee foundation in Partnership with the office of the special assistant to the president on special needs and equal opportunities has distributed relief materials and cash to 50 Amputees in Mubi, Adamawa state. The donation is aimed at sharing hope and strength to those facing challenges.

DISTRIBUTION OF RELIEF MATERIALS

In his address, the founder of Help the Amputee foundation, Tizhe Joseph Kwaji said the non-governmental has organised the programme with the aim of uplifting the lives of the amputees and those that are facing challenges in the community.

The founder thanked Abba Isa Muhammed, senior special assistant to the president on special needs and equal opportunities who has shown commitment to addressing the needs of most vulnerable communities which is in line with Help the amputee foundation’s mission to bring hope and empowerment to vulnerable in the society.

The senior counselor of Mubi Emirate, Abubakar Mahmud Wambai as the chairman of the foundation said the foundation has been effective in Mubi in rendering support to amputees who are mostly victims of insurgency, bomb blast and accidents that hit mubi.

In a vote of thanks, the special assistant to the president on special needs and equal opportunities Muhammed Isa Abba represented by Aliyu Isa Muhammed said the Administration is passionate about people with disability and remains optimistic that the collaboration with Help the Amputee Foundation will bring more support and intervention to people living with disability.
