Making a difference: Supporting persons with disabilities

A recent outreach program by Help the Amputee Foundation in partnership with the special assistant to the president on people with special needs and equal opportunities in the Federal Secretariat, Central Business District, Abuja. The foundation distributed food and relief materials to persons with disabilities with 100 beneficiaries.

Aisha, (Single parent and Beneficiary): “As a single parent with disability, every bit of help counts. The relief materials eased my burden and reminded me that there is a network of support.
